THE GAME YOU LOVE. A PLACE TO GATHER.

Minecraft does the Minecraft.

Minecraft Together is a multiplayer companion for organizing real Minecraft sessions with friends.

One lobby. Your actual game.

The app saves world descriptions, connection details, invitation links, shared lobby chat, and private progress notes in its built-in key-value store. It does not host servers, stream Minecraft, or read your game inventory.

Classic Edition

Open the official browser game. The host copies its game invitation into the hub so everyone opens the same world.

Java Edition

Use an existing server. Copy its address and enter it in Multiplayer → Add Server in Minecraft: Java Edition.

Bedrock Edition

Use an existing server on a supported device. Enter its address and port in Play → Servers → Add Server.

Can I play modern Minecraft entirely inside this app?

No. Modern Java and Bedrock gameplay runs in your installed Minecraft client. Official Classic is a separate browser game and opens in another tab; this app stays open for lobby chat.

Does creating a hub create a Minecraft server?

No. A hub is a saved gathering place. For Java or Bedrock, supply an existing server address you are permitted to share. For Classic, save the multiplayer game invitation generated by the official game.

Does an invitation grant server access?

No. It links to a public companion lobby. Server whitelists, Minecraft accounts, game ownership, and edition compatibility still apply. World hubs and their connection details are visible to app visitors; never share server passwords here.

Are online players actually in the Minecraft world?

The roster shows signed-in users with this app lobby open. It does not verify their Minecraft connection. Presence expires after approximately a minute without a heartbeat.

What progress is saved?

Your profile, joined hubs, invitations, lobby chat, and manually entered personal build notes are saved between visits. Blocks, player positions, inventories, and actual game saves are managed by Minecraft, not this companion.

Why did the Bedrock launch button do nothing?

Your browser, device, or Minecraft version may not support the launch link. Open Minecraft manually and follow the server address and port instructions shown in the lobby. Console platforms may restrict adding custom servers.
